Our non-traditional family wishes to purchase a Fannie Mae Home located in Wagener South Carolina. We had a little trouble as a result of the Fort Gordon stop loss after the 911 terrorist attack. Because of our financial problems coming out of the stop loss our family moved into the home of a family member and took over the house and land mortgage on that property since late 2003. We have kept it in excellent standing all this time. The family member who let us assume the mortgage needs to return to their own home and we need to move on. Our income has increased steadily since 2004. We are strong family on solid financial footing and are confident and ready to take that step. We just need a little help in getting a loan from someone willing to look at the whole picture.
